On a semi-related topic... I am thinking that it is getting close to the time to put the code up into a svn repository, and perhaps move to using a traditional mailing-list, forum host.

I wonder what people think about that? Note: I have held off due to some fairly significant refactoring... there is still going to be a bit of code tidy up work to do with the new Query object.

SVN access would be great.

Regarding mailing lists, I personally prefer forums. The disadvantage of mailing lists is that if you join them later you have to cope with two interfaces. A web-based archive to do full text search over existing entries and a mail client to post new messages. That is annoying.

However as long as you register your mailing lists with news.gmane.org and can ensure that entries do not expire (have that issue with some lists), mailing lists would be ok too :-)
